Jim is a selection and management development professional with international experience working across a range of industry sectors and job levels from call centre staff, salespeople, first line managers, leaders and executives up to and including board level. His projects span the design and delivery of objective selection processes, facilitation of assessment and development centres, one-to-one feedback sessions and career development interventions.
Prior to founding Bloojam Consulting Ltd in 2005, Jim worked in consultancy roles for market-leading psychometric test publisher SHL (UK) Ltd, and later, TMP Worldwide, the UK’s largest recruitment advertising agency. Some of the clients he has delivered projects for include HSBC, AXA, Direct Line Group, E.ON, Yorkshire Water, Experian, British Airways, BAE Systems, Toyota, Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Home Office, Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), Ministry of Defence (MOD) and various NHS trusts.
Jim is accredited to use tools such as OPQ32, Wave, NEO PI-R, Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Hogan Development Survey (HDS), Dimensions, Profile:Match and Strengthscope. Jim is an Associate Member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP) and is registered as a Test User: Occupational Ability & Personality with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
