Award Winning Housing Developer Redesigns Sales Recruitment

We’re pleased to have helped another business to recruit top salespeople by designing a new assessment process for candidates applying to work in the sales function of an award-winning property business.

FABRICA, one of the largest housing developers in the UK and part of the A2Dominion Group, has over 70 years of experience and an asset base of £2.9bn across over 36,000 homes in London and the South East. With plans to develop a further 4,500 homes the company needs to recruit high-performing salespeople to work at their new developments.

The new assessment process sees candidates complete online personality questionnaires before undertaking in-depth interviews and sales exercises that are bespoke for each role. Bloojam Consulting Director, Jim Bloomfield said, “By interviewing key stakeholders within FABRICA we were able to identify the need for candidates to balance sales skills with a focus on customer service. We’ve designed a process that will really immerse candidates in the job and help them to appreciate what working in a marketing suite would feel like.
